Parish School of Religion - Grades 1-8
Children in grades one through eight who attend public schools or non-Catholic private schools participate in our Parish School of Religion. Classes are held in the school building on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 - 7:45 pm, September through May. When there is a short or long-term need, parents are offered the option to homeschool their children using online lessons plans from our religion book series and following the catechist’s list of lessons for each semester.

Children's Liturgy of the Word
Children's Liturgy of the Word is a parish-based program which seeks "to develop in...children an appreciation of the word of God." (Directory for Masses With Children, 14) This is accomplished by gathering the children separately from the adults during occasional Sunday Masses and using simplified Scripture texts and interactive preaching directed at increasing an understanding of the scriptures in children ages 4-8.
At St. Francis of Assisi Children's Liturgy is offered during regular weekend Masses at 4:30pm and 10:00am.
For more information, please contact Lori Gallo, 440-449-7880 ext 167.
Youth Ministry is an opportunity for high school students to deepen their friendship with Jesus Christ in a unique environment that blends catechetical learning with interactive and social activities. The aim of youth ministry is to further one’s understanding of Jesus as a personal God who truly loves us unconditionally, thus leading to conversion and the sharing of that encounter with others.
