The Booster Club supports athletic programs at St. Francis of Assisi.  The club administers sports programs, and raises supplemental funds to defray the costs associated with athletic programs.

The Booster Club board is made up of Mike Spolar (President), Joe Prcela (Vice President), Dani Gisondo (Treasurer), Neil Gavin (Secretary) and Eileen Klear (Athletic Director). 

Open meetings are held in the Activities Room monthly.  Parents, coaches, and prospective coaches are all encouraged to attend.

Last year, the Booster Club held its 2^nd annual Outback Steakhouse Steak and Clambake on the parish grounds, and it was a another great success.  Over 300 people participated in the event, which raised approximately $17,000!  Special thanks are owed to Stacy Mazzurco and Ken DiPippo who spearheaded this event, and spent countless hours making it a hit.

The BC also participates in several other fundraisers throughout the year, including a volleyball tournament, and a two-part basketball tournament.  

Through these efforts, our students, as well as all of our PSR students, have the opportunity to participate in the following sports:  football, flag-football, cross country, volleyball, basketball, baseball, softball and track.  In an average school year, over 300 children play sports in one form or another at SFA, and the Booster Club is an integral part of the sports experience at SFA. 

The Booster Club is always looking for more involvement from parents.  Meetings are fun and informative – get involved in sports at SFA by attending a meeting.
