Permanent Deacon

Deacon Bill is a Permanent Deacon ordained in 1983 for the diocese of Cleveland. He has served at St. Francis of Assisi Parish for over 16 years. Deacon Bill also served at St. Clare Parish in Lyndhurst for 16 years where he and his wife Linda served as youth ministers and received the James P. O’Donnell award for outstanding youth ministry from the diocese. Bill studied at St. Mary’s Seminary for the diaconate and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Religious studies from Ursuline College and his Master’s degree in Clinical Counseling from John Carroll University. He is an adjunct faculty member at St. Mary’s Seminary. Deacon Bill and his wife have three grown children and seven grandchildren. They are both in private practice clinical counseling at Family Behavioral Health Services in Mayfield Village.
