The Lumen Series: Reason and Philosophy in the Light of Faith
St. Francis Parish is excited to introduce a new lecture series focusing on important questions regarding Christian beliefs and faith in our world. This series will be offered throughout the course of the year and provides college-level presentations on issues in both theology and philosophy.
Our first Lumen Series lecture will be focused on “Evil, Suffering, and the Goodness of God: Can Christian Faith Be Reasonable?” Dr. Matt Jordan, PhD (Vice President of Academic Affairs, Borromeo and St. Mary Seminaries) will be leading this important conversation on Monday, September 8 from 7 – 8:00 pm, with an opportunity for Q&A to follow. No RSVP is required, and this series is offered at no charge.
